Service Policies
General Terms that apply to all of
our customers Items presented
for bench service are subject to a diagnostic fee to be paid
in advance.
Service is billed in 15-minute
increments.
Items sent out for service will
be charged for packing, shipping and insurance. Special
order parts and materials required for repair must be prepaid
in full before ordering.
No refunds will be given on service.
Items left more than 30 days after first notification of service
completion will become property of Datakinetics and can be
used or sold to recover the repair cost. Warranty on
service is 30 days from the first notification of completion,
and applies to labor only.Hardware is subject to the manufacturer’s
warranty. Software and its installation are not warranted
once the item has been returned to the customer.
It is the responsibility of the
Customer to supply the original invoice from the sale or service
of the equipment for warranty purposes.
Turn around time for bench service
is dependent on the work scheduled at that time. This will
vary due to contract call load and parts equirementsOverdue
invoices will be subject to a 1.5 % month finance charge.
PLEASE NOTE:
Datakinetics
may retain items brought in for service if your Preferred
Service or Standard billing accounts are not up to date.
Standard Customer TermsTelephone support
Customers must provide a valid
credit card prior to service to be pre-approved for 1 hour of
service.There is a 15-minute minimum fee.Payment is due at the
completion of call and will be billed to your credit card.
Bench and on site service
New customers and those not
approved for credit must present a valid credit card prior to
service to be pre-approved for $250.00.Payment is due at the
time of pickup or delivery of the item.Hourly customers with
established credit may receive up to $250.00 labor.Payment must
be made at the completion of the service call, or when the customer
receives the item.Payment may be made by cash, personal check
with proper ID*, business check, or major credit card**.Purchase
orders must be faxed or mailed in for pre-approval by a Datakinetics’
manager before service will be scheduled. |
